Kathryn Tremaine Brown, 91, of Buchanan, Michigan, passed away Tuesday morning, November 17, 2009 at the Buchanan Meadows Living Center, with her son, William and daughter-in-law Nancy at her side. She was born December 22, 1917, in Hillsdale, Michigan, where she married Robert J. Brown in 1937. They raised their 2 children, Robert and William in Hillsdale. Kathryn worked until her early 80’s ending her work career in Buchanan as a home health aide. She was preceded in death by her 6 brothers and 1 sister. Besides her sons Robert (Pat) and Bill (Nancy), she is survived by grandchildren, Amy DeLuhery, Shelly Mahoney, William, Jason and Aaron Brown, and Great Grandchildren, Christina, Isabella, Zachary, Delaney, Anderson and John. Cremation has occurred and a memorial service is planned this coming summer in North Adams, July 2010.
