Doris Ann Thompson, 57, died unexpectedly on Friday, November 20, 2009 in her home in Buchanan, MI. She attended New Good Hope M.B. Church and graduated from Buchanan High School. She was preceded in death be her father, J.T. Williams, Sr. and her mother, Earnestine Williams. She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, MeShelle Williams of Mesquite, TX; two sons, Victor (Thola) Thompson, Jr. and Trevor L. Thompson, both of Michigan; six sisters, Dorothy (Johnnie B.) Jenkins of Pearl, MS, Bobbie (Hersey) Thompson of Inkster, MI, Margaret (Edmond) Young of Buchanan, MI, Delores Hill of Tampa, FL, Marie (Walter) Overton of South Bend, IN, Carolyn (Ben) Lax of South Bend, IN; five brothers, Clarence (Josetta) Bibbs of Buchanan, MI, Ed (Connie) Bibbs of New Troy, MI, J.T. (Rosie) Williams of Niles, MI, Kenny Williams of Red Oak, TX and Johnnie (Donzella) Williams of Belleville, MI; grandchildren, Keith Larry Jr., Na’Tasha Thompson, Takoia Larry, Victoria Thompson, Vanessa Das, Ta’Quishia Larry, Raeonna Thompson, Trevor Thompson and Victor Thompson III; two great grandchildren, Ka’Vion Larry and K’Mya Larry. Hoven Funeral Home is in charge of services at New Good Hope M.B. Church at 112 Fulton Street, Buchanan, MI. The service will be at 2:00pm Saturday, Nov. 28, 2009 with visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Buchanan, MI.
