Pamela Ann Fain, 42, born May 6, 1967 in Berrien Springs, passed away at home after a long battle with cancer on January 14, 2010. The Angels came and took her from the loving arms of her mother to the loving arms of God to rest in Peace without pain and sickness, only God’s love and joy. She is survived by her mother, Joan (George) Matlack; her father, Jim (Paula) Fain; three daughters and three grandchildren, Stephanie Fain, Jessica Mireles and daughter Aireonia Cassandra and husband Antonio Hernandez, daughter Candelaria and son Antonio; 4 brothers and 2 sister-in-laws, Terry Fain, Kevin Fain, David (Stacy) Matlack and Jeremy (Kimberly) Matlack; and 10 nieces & nephews. As her family thinks of Pamela, we think of the song by Allen Jackson, “Sissy’s Song.” Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at 12:30pm at First Free Will Baptist Church – 3472 Territorial Rd., Benton Harbor, Mich. with Rev. William Hughes officiating. Friends may call two hours prior to the service on Tuesday at the church. Burial will take place in Coloma Cemetery, Coloma. A potluck dinner will follow at the church after the burial service. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice at Home, Inc. of Buchanan & to the American Cancer Society. Hoven Funeral Home, Buchanan, is handling the arrangements for the family.
