Leota Hart Williams, 79, of Buchanan, Michigan, passed away at 8:45am, Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at her home of natural causes. Leota was born March 26, 1930 in Pickford, Michigan to Herbert & Emily Hart. She was a beautician and retired after working for 20 years at General Motors. She also attended Portage Road General Baptist Church in Niles. Survivors include her children; Michael (Debbie) Williams and Cheri (Glenn) Gubi; a sister, Edith Celestino; eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Williams; her parents, Herbert & Emily Hart; one brother, Norman; and four sisters, Victoria, Lois, Earla & Neanie. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am, Saturday, March 20, 2010 at Hoven Funeral Home, Buchanan, MI. Family and friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Buchanan. A luncheon will follow the funeral service at Mrs. Williams home in Buchanan. Hoven Funeral Home, Buchanan, is handling the arrangements for the family.
