Mary J. Welsher, 94, died Thursday in Lakeland Community Hospital, Niles, of natural cause. She was born in Centerville, Iowa and worked at John Deere. Mary was a WWII Navy Veteran and a member of Buchanan Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Welsher whom she married on July 19, 1947 in Chicago, IL. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. today, March 19, 2010 at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Buchanan, MI. Hoven Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
