Lloyd E. Johnson, 63, of Bloomington, IN, formerly of Buchanan, MI, passed away Saturday, April 24, 2010, following an extended illness. A memorial service will be held at 12:00pm, Friday, April 30, 2010 at the Buchanan Moose Lodge #449. Arrangements were made by Hoven Funeral Home in Buchanan. Lloyd Edward Johnson was born August 17, 1946 to Robert and Thelma (Shire) Johnson. In 1966, he married the former Jean Ann Swisher. He was a mechanical engineer with Clark Equipment Company and also with Bendix/Bosch. Lloyd enjoyed fishing, hunting and golf. Lloyd is survived by his son, Kenneth of Mishawaka; his daughter, Diana (Barry) Waggoner of LaVergne, TN; and two grandchildren, Peyton Johnson and Savannah Johnson. His brothers, Kevin Johnson of Tampa, FL; Richard (Shirley) Johnson of Stevensville, James Johnson and Thomas (Mary) Johnson, both of Green Bay, Wisc., and Michael (Jan) Johnson of Saginaw, MI; a sister, Anne Reinhold of Cottonwood, CA; and many nieces & nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded by his sister, Linda; and brother-in-laws, Raymond and Daniel. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
