Loraine Dokey, 79, passed away on Saturday, May 15th, in her home. She was born on December 14, 1930, in Buchanan to William T. and Helen D. Jane. On November 24, 1948, she married Lloyd "Bud" Dokey, who preceded her in death. She is survived by a son, Steven L. (Joy) Dokey of Naples, FL; daughters, Judy Dokey (Lynn) Ritchey, Janet (Michael) Webber and Jane Dokey, all of Niles; brother, Richard (Rita) Jane of Buchanan; and a sister, Carol (Jerry) Price of Buchanan. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Walter T. Jane. Services will take place on Friday, May 21, at 10:00am in Hoven Funeral Home, Buchanan, where friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday. Burial will be at Oak Ridge Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be sent to Hospice at Home, 4017 Chamberlain Road, Buchanan, MI 49107. Hoven Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
