Violet Teresa Piechocki-Myers, 90, died of natural causes at 10:54 a.m. Sunday, June 20, 2010, at home. She was born on June 7, 1920, in Leechburg, PA. She was a child care provider and a member of the Buchanan Moose Lodge. She was a widow, and was also preceded in death by a daughter, Patty Piechocki. Survivors include sons, Robert (Kelsey) Piechocki of Reno, NV, John Piechocki of South Bend and Rick (Edna) Piechocki of Edwardsburg, MI; stepson, Ron Myers of Georgia; brother, Frank Vas of South Bend; sister, Marge Strom of South Bend; four grandchildren, one step-grandchild and five great-grandchildren. No services will be held. Cremation has take place. Hoven Funeral Home, Buchanan, is handling arrangements.
